Sunday 5.2.12
Mucking around with the original guys from the Garage: Nick, Rosey, & Benny E. After 20 mins of handstand walks we though it’s be a good idea to hit some ladders… (a total pissing comp)
- push-ups (8min) 2 in the first, 4 in the second, 6 in the third, etc. Although we ended up jumping to 10 in the 4th
— Result: 2,4,6,10,12,14,16,18 (just) - double unders (8min) – add 10 each round – eg. 10 in the first, 20 in the second, 30 in the third, etc.
— Result: 10,20,30,40,50,60,63 (didn’t make 70 in the 7 min also: this was a completely stupid idea as I’d already smashed my calves with DUs the day before…) - Rope climbs (8min) – 2/4/6, etc.
— Result: 2/4/6 (then completely gassed out – arms were wrecked)
Saturday 4.2.12
10 min AMRAP:
- 30 double unders
- 10 snatches
— Result: 8 rounds + 30 double-unders.
This workout is a variation on last years CF Games Open WOD 11.1 which originally included 15 snatches. I’d remember almost dying at the end of 7 rounds last year but walked away from this one pretty happy – only to find out that I’d done 5 snatches less every round (also think it might have been a 12 min AMRAP) Still happy though.
