We lost a couple of people recently to another gym?!

It would seem that my approach is too firm. My delivery: too demanding. The pressure I place on my members: too great.

Whilst I wouldn’t really class the other gym as being a competitor (they’re not a CrossFit affiliate) losing 3(4) of your members to another business for the same reason does make you question your methods?

I could get all depressed and wonder what I did wrong as a coach but I think it’s more a case of different people finding the right fit.

What we do isn’t for everyone… It’s the reason other fitness establishments exist. Fernwood, Anytime Fitness, Fitness First and Club Lime all have something different to offer. From 24hr access to a 1001 machines, Zumba and every Les Mills ‘Pump-Spin-Attack’ class you can manage.

We do CrossFit. I offer you barbells, bumper plates, Trivium and a daily ass kicking.

Regardless of where you decide to go, I really do believe if you commit to smart training, smart nutrition and proper recovery you can get great results anywhere.

  • If you’re serious about training –TRAIN.
  • If you’re obese, but serious about losing weight –EAT RIGHT.
  • If you’re serious about being a better person tomorrow than you were yesterday –PROVE IT.

Stop creating excuses for why you can’t train, can’t eat right and can’t step it up when the going gets tough – “Excuses give you the right to stay right where you are…” (~Bishop Bronner) It’s just not in my gym.

If that sounds like or I’m being too demanding or too much pressure, understand that’s just the way we roll at Adapt. You don’t have to be down with that -> there’s another gym just down the road and I heard they’re more than happy to cater for your needs…
