Ah, to be fighting fit again…

This was me last November, after a solid 6 months of training and super-tight nutrition 😬
I could get caught up, thinking about how good I was (back then) and then depressed (because I’m so far away from my peak physical state eg. injured – missing the top part of my thumb)… 😥

I mean I could. It’s just that it doesn’t serve me. at. all.It’s going to take a while for my thumb to heal and while I can’t train the way I used to – I can still train – I still have a whole mind and capable body

Plus there are so many other things I can now shift my focus to (now that training doesn’t take up as much time) -> Things like my beautiful wife and daughters, my biz, learning and of course, my nutrition 😉

If you’re feeling down at the moment because you feel like your health and fitness has gone backwards – realise that it’s just part of the journey and that you can start taking small steps to get to where you want to beSee 6 days, 6 weeks or 6 months off (in the grand scheme of things) for what it really is, just a little detour 😉

Start focusing on the things you can do (as opposed to the things you can’t) and realise that you all you need to do is simple. begin. again.
